The challenge – create a training and education business in the fast growing wind energy sector in the USA. Grow from $250,000 revenue to $2 million plus within 3 years. During Covid!

The dvo team quickly embedded into STL USA taking on the strategic planning, marketing and leadership challenges that needed to be met to achieve the short and medium goals. 

Tasks through the initial process included a detailed market research project, creation of a 3 year business plan, associated P&L forecasting and people and physical resource planning. Year one actions covered rebranding, implementing a structured brand and communications strategy, a new website and associated marketing collateral, implementing a sales and marketing technology stack and associated marketing automation alongside day to day leadership and management services.

Results – hit $2million ARR by year 2.5, launched x2 facilities, launched digital learning platform, cemented position as top 3 wind technician training provider in USA.
